that’s me — hi!

shweta — the voice of science

the long version

A teacher who writes

I'm a paramedical professor and a school science teacher. I teach biology and microbiology, train future phlebotomists, and coordinate schools — work that turns curiosity into students who know their stuff, and into lab professionals who care.

And when I'm not in the classroom, I write. My first book, What She Was Told, takes the myths women are handed about their own bodies apart, one by one — fact-checked, and told through the lives of six women you'll recognise. It's out now on Amazon Kindle and Gumroad.

I've sung at Indian Idol and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa auditions, and that instinct for rhythm still shapes how I explain things.

“If you can hum it, you'll remember it.”
